Because Union of Utrecht entered new things in Church canons that are strange to two-thousand-year long Church tradition, on the field of sexual and wedding moral (it allows weddings and blessings of homosexual couples) and on the field of sacramental theology (allows ordination of women in holy orders), some Old Catholic Churches, not wanting to take part in degradation of God's truths, left Utrecht Union and formed World Union of National Catholic Churches (known also as World Council of National Old Catholic Churches), which is orthodox in the sense of saving the teachings and tradition of ancient Church. Because of that, that Union could be considered as authentic Catholic Church.

Union of St. Christophor is a province of World Council of National (Old) Catholic Churches, for the region of Balcan. Its presiding archbishop is mons. Leonardo Beg. Province works along with other two Provinces - of St. Methodius, for central Europe, and St. Michael, for Russia and baltic Countries.

World Council of National (Old) Catholic Churches holds primarily on the first seven, ecumenical Councils of unseparated Church of the first millenia. By the way it is lead, it is self-governed (autocephalous or autonomous), so very close to Orthodox consitution. In services, it uses western, as well as byzantine rite, so orthodox - catholic element is obviously present.

By sticking to the Scripture and Church tradition as they actually are, Council, as a part of Catholic Old Church (= orthodox - catholic orientation), continues its holy mission of spreading the Good Word (Evangelion) to all people, in every nation and place on the Earth, fulfilling the Christ's demand given to His disciples: ''So go and make all people my disciples, by baptisting them in the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28,19)

"I was walking full with a spiritual thirst,
through a desert which was dark,
and a Seraphim with six wings showed to me
on the crossroad."

Patriarch biography

World Council of national Old-Catholic Churches (Światowa Rada Narodowych Kościołów Katolickich) is a Union which has a Patriarch on its head.
As a organization, till recently it has been divided divided on two church provinces - Patriarch resides churches on the west and Slovakian archbishop resides Province of St. Methodius (Slovakia, Austria, Czech, Poland, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina), hence he has a title of metropolitan of that province.

With the growth of number of Countries that Province of St. Methodius resides, a need for a split showed up. During 2016, a decision was made: Province of St. Methodius shall be splitted to three Provinces, with their own archbishops: St. Methodius, St. Christophor and St. Michael. Division on provinces allows better focusing on specific internal church activities. Province of St. Methodius, additionally, remains church-canonical predecessor to new provinces.

Because Slovakian Old Catholic Church is a member of World Council of Churches and Worldwide Communion of Catholic and Apostolic Churches, hence this Vicariate is, as a former canonical member of Province of St. Methodius (now: Province of St. Christophor), a member of those two Councils.

Mission of World Council of Churches is more or less widely known, but the other Communion is not known in these areas, so we will use this opportunity and show some short history of it and list the member Churches.

Comunion de Iglesias Catolicas Apotolicas Mundiales - Worldwide Communion of Catholic and Apostolic Churches

Communion was founded by Patriarch Luis Mendez Castillo, to provide a working relationship between churches in the Roman Catholic lines of succession of Bishop Carlos Duarte Costa. Duarte Costa was the Roman Catholic Bishop from Brazil, who founded many churches all over the world.

Patriarch Mendez is the successor of Bishop Carlos Duarte Costa. He founded this communion on August 18, 2008 at a meeting of worldwide bishops.

Communion is open to all Bishops and Clergy who hold the true Catholic and Orthodox Faith which was founded by Jesus Christ our Lord and brought to us through his Apostles.

We believe in the absolute necessity of unbroken lines of succession from the apostles of Jesus Christ our Lord.
We accept the first seven ecumenical councils of the undivided church.
We believe in the Nicene, Apostles and Athanasian creeds of the undivided church.
We do not accept any ordination of women into the Holy Orders of Sub Deacon, Deacon, Priest and Bishop.
We do not allow any homosexual clergy in any communion churches.
We hold the Truths taught by the early church which taught all to Get Free, Stay Free and help others to be FREE.
We believe in the necessity of all to come to deliverance so they can live the fullness of God’s Holy Catholic Church.
We believe in the constant study of God’s Holy and Infallible Word that came to us from the Apostles of Jesus Christ!

We keep all communion records for members free of charge in the Archdiocesan Archives in Guanajuato, Mexico and Fort Worth, Texas.

The Communion has an Educational network to promote Christian Education and High Education: Oxford Educational Network.
We have a goal to build Bible Colleges and Seminaries all over the world where students can obtain their Undergraduate degrees free of charge. People seeking Holy orders and in active ministry may study on the graduate level free of charge.
The Communion has the Old Roman catholic School District which has Parochial schools and Tech schools all over the world.
